CHARTING A CLEANER PATH FOR THE PLANET

Many, including those in the energy industry, are unaware that methane has more than 80x the warming power of CO2 in the first 20 years of reaching our atmosphere. The oil and gas industry is the second largest source of human-produced methane after agriculture. So when the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) announced it would be bringing its methane mitigation message and methane satellite model to ADIPEC, the world’s largest gathering of the energy industry, the challenge was clear: inform an unengaged audience without standing on a soap box.

To rapidly reduce emissions, EDF created MethaneSAT, a satellite that will track and measure methane pollution like never before. MethaneSAT data will be public, setting a new standard for emissions transparency. It could be a game- and behavior-changer. So we built the ADIPEC experience around it.

Equipped with our services, including Brand Strategy, Event Strategy, Experience Design, Augmented Reality, and Content Creation, we worked side-by-side with EDF’s scientists to ensure accuracy to construct a booth experience that contextualized the conversations through two MethaneSAT models.
