Interaction Design is the Key to AI

AI technology holds immense potential for marketers looking to enhance their strategies. But it's not just about the tone of voice - clients want an experience that feels like their brand. AI can replicate the essence of a brand, but it takes a human touch to craft it in a way that truly resonates with customers.

AI has been portrayed in movies and other media as rigid and robotic, but this doesn't have to be the case. At Hunt, Gather, we understand the importance of interaction design and how to craft digital experiences that integrate AI components into larger marketing strategies. Our approach is to use creative problem-solving to design user interfaces that are intuitive and user-friendly, while still achieving the desired results. We believe that AI can be used to create experiences that feel natural and fluid, and that align with marketers' goals for seamless AI integration.

Our Hopdoddy Trivia project showcased the symbiosis between interaction design and AI-powered chat interfaces. Our AI platform quickly became an expert in regenerative agriculture and took on the role of Trivia Master, educating players on the subject. We paired the AI trivia master with a design system that grounded users in regenerative agriculture principles throughout their journey, and gave users the freedom to navigate the trivia game at their own pace, creating a more personalized and engaging interaction.

Through dynamic elements such as a revolving carousel highlighting core regenerative agriculture principles and subtle, screen-engaging textual elements, we've crafted a comprehensive, fluid experience. This transformation turns the AI host from a transactional entity into a conversational partner, fostering an ongoing dialogue with users. This approach emphasizes that each player is in control, helping to bridge the gap between the marketer's objectives and the user's needs. It ensures that our AI-driven experience not only facilitates learning based on user input but also adapts to their needs, creating a more meaningful connection between the marketer and their audience.

Engaging with AI may seem daunting for many at the outset, but with thoughtful user flows and intuitive interactions, we can make AI feel like an integral and indispensable part of a brand's context.
